O’Leary & Rizzalli

Jack O’Leary and Christian Rizzalli have been playing tunes and songs together for many years as part of different groups, including The Stowaways and Munsterbucks. After a number of duo performances, they decided to team up and share their own take on folk music — a mix of songs and tunes from the Irish, English, and Scottish traditions.

Their sound brings together strong vocal harmonies and carefully arranged sets that have grown out of countless sessions and shared miles on the road. They’ve recently returned from several festivals, including the Maleny Music Festival, and continue to play halls, theatres, and community spaces where traditional music still feels alive and close.

For both Jack and Christian, it’s about connection — to the songs, to each other, and to the people who gather to listen.
